2009-2010 Ideas to Action Forum: Atlanta

You are cordially invited to the Ideas to Action Forum in Atlanta for discussion and debate about the role of entrepreneurship and innovation in business and society with Ed Hess, Professor of Business Administration, and Mike Lenox, Samuel L. Slover Research Professor of Business and Associate Dean/Executive Director of the Batten Institute. Created in collaboration with the Batten Institute, these forums will introduce a range of perspectives and topics in innovation, strategy, and entrepreneurship, motivated by the current research of Darden's leading scholars. Professor Hess is currently researching the Darden Growth/Innovation Model, The Challenges of Managing Private Company Growth, and Building Enduring Organizations. Mike is recognized as a leader in the pursuit for corporate environmental sustainability with specializations in technology strategy and policy. In particular, his research explores the impact of extramural knowledge on firm innovation strategy. Please RSVP by November 30th. The first Ideas to Action Forum is dedicated in memory of Mr. Frank Batten, Sr., a generous and visionary benefactor of the Darden School who believed in the power of ideas to motivate and inspire entrepreneurial leadership. www.batteninstitute.org
