2009-2010 Ideas to Action Forum: Boston

You are cordially invited to the Ideas to Action Forum in Boston on March 18th for discussion and debate about the role of entrepreneurship and innovation in business and society with Jeanne Liedtka, Professor of Business Administration, and Elizabeth O'Halloran (MBA '95), Director of Intellectual Capital at the Batten Institute. Created in collaboration with the Batten Institute, these forums will introduce a range of perspectives and topics in innovation, strategy, and entrepreneurship, motivated by the current research of Darden's Leading Scholars. Professor Liedtka is a leader in corporate learning and development, and is especially interested in engaging the creativity of all employees to design futures for the corporation and for themselves. Ms. O'Halloran's recent projects have focused on business angel investing, the investment practices in emerging markets, social and economic impact of entrepreneurship education in developing countries, and development of learning cultures. Please RSVP by Saturday, March 13th. The first Ideas to Action Forum is dedicated in memory of Mr. Frank Batten, Sr., a generous and visionary benefactor of the Darden School who believed in the power of ideas to motivate and inspire entrepreneurial leadership. www.batteninstitute.org
