Ideas to Action Forum: San Francisco
You are cordially invited to the Ideas to Action Forum in San Francisco on March 11th for discussion and debate about the role of entrepreneurship and innovation in business and society with Greg Fairchild, Associate Professor of Business Administration. Created in collaboration with the Batten Institute, these forums will introduce a range of perspectives and topics in innovation, strategy, and entrepreneurship, motivated by the current research of Darden's leading scholars. Professor Fairchild's empirical and practical research attempts to answer challenging societal and economic questions about how firms create value, especially in settings that might otherwise be overlooked. He is currently working on a multi-year project to examine the field of community-development finance funded by a research grant from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. Please RSVP by Saturday, March 6th. The first Ideas to Action Forum is dedicated in memory of Mr. Frank Batten, Sr., a generous and visionary benefactor of the Darden School who believed in the power of ideas to motivate and inspire entrepreneurial leadership. www.batteninstitute.org
